Pocahaunted were two girls, Bethany and Amanda, from L.A. who started a band. If you're gonna ask how they got their name, (because apparently everyone does) it came to one of them in a dream. It's some dubby dirty hippy tribal drone kinda thing. They generally put out on Not Not Fun, but they do have one release on Woodsist.Bethany went on to form Best Coast, leaving Amanda to do her own thing with Pocahaunted. I think Sun Araw joined the band for a little while recently too. Best Coast is currently putting out great pop songs like "The Sun Was High (So Was I)," and Pocahaunted just released Make It Real, one of my favorite albums of the year.

Bouns Fun Fact: Josh Klinghoffer(of JohnFrusciante/RHCP fame) was a studio guitarist on Chains.
